Andie has just finished her 2 month treatment of Pyrazinamide (on May 4). On May 3 I made sure I brought her to her Pediatrician, Dr. Jack Estuart.
I wasn't sure I was bringing her in the morning as it was really gloomy, lest it rained. Andie'll get wet and might catch colds. That'll be another problem. Mama passed by the clinic to enlist us none the less. We were supposed to be number six on the list and Dr. Jack is arriving by 12 noon yet. I had time, I thought.
Andie was able to video chat with her aunt in canada before I prepped her for her doctor's appointment.
At Quirino Doctors
I arrived at the clinic with a lot of patients already on queue. Why was I not surprised? :) Doc Jack is sort of a famous doc here. Well, her wife is an OB-Gyn. (you do the math!).
Anyway, it was one of those days where Pedia's patients are more than that of the OBs. Sometimes it's the other way around.
I saw one of my officemates with her baby (and mother). Chit chat a bit and then before we know it, it was already our turn to be seen by Doc Jack.
Inside the Doctor's office
Doc Jack asked the usual questions, How's the baby. Has she been sick? Etc, etc, etc.
She (well, I was!) was instructed to continue her Rif and Iso. Otherwise my andie is a well baby. SHe was measured too, forgot how tall she is now! And then the doc listened to her hearbeat and other sounds that she may be doing!
Andie is still suffering from stranger anxiety, she's already standing on her own. She even takes small steps (cruising) when I put her to hold on to furnitures. She also scoots around the house so fast!
So, what's next? I hope she begins talking soon!
